"An Viet Restaurant, The Gardens Mid Valley An Viet serves delicious Vietnamese food, which explains why the restaurant is often crowded, especially during peak hours. Be prepared to queue if you come at popular dining times. One thing I appreciate is the self-service condiments station, where you can help yourself to chili sauce, fresh bean sprouts, and basil to customise your meal to your liking. We ordered the spring rolls, and unfortunately they were sticking to the banana leaf, causing the roll to open up and the vegetables to spill out. It ended up being a bit messy to eat, though the flavours themselves were still good. The fish with dill and spring onion was very tasty and well executed. The menu offers many set meals, which seem to be quite popular, as well as à la carte options, giving diners flexibility depending on appetite and preference. The staff are friendly, though understandably during busy hours their attention is stretched as the restaurant gets very packed. Even though we were already full, we couldn’t resist trying their glutinous rice balls to end the meal. Overall, An Viet is a solid choice for Vietnamese food, especially if you enjoy vibrant flavours and don’t mind a lively, bustling dining atmosphere."
"They do offer vegetarian options, which is appreciated, though I do wish there were more selections available. The taste overall still has room for improvement, especially to give a wider and more distinctive flavor profile. The coconut dessert was acceptable, but similarly, there’s still some space to improve the taste. That said, the overall dining experience was still good. A plus point is that the portion and choice of selections are flexible and can be chosen freely without additional cost, which makes the meal more enjoyable. With some refinement in flavors and more vegetarian variety, it could be even better."
"Looking for lunch and happened to found this restaurant here. I have ordered the PHO for a try and find it is slightly better than other Vietnamese restaurant. Their soup is more tasty but still find if is sweeter & boiling hot will be fantastic! The beef slice is too thin and we doesn't enjoy the meat juicy. Good is the restaurant provide free flow of beansprouts and mint leaves. Another dish which I find lemongrass chicken rice, the chicken is tasty and have a great lemongrass fragrance! Drink will be good for their lemongrass hot tea."
"I have patronised this restaurant many times. The quality and taste of the food never fail to impress me, regardless of what I’ve ordered and which branch I went to. First time trying their yee sang and it was pleasantly refreshing and tasty, very different from the usual Malaysian-style yee sang we have here which were usually too sweet."
"An Viet has been around for some time and it's a good place for anyone wanting Vietnamese food. The offerings are pretty standard, but they have few special options that sets it apart from other Vietnamese restaurants. An example of this would be the Clam in Coconut Broth with Vermicelli Noodles. They also have a condiment station where you can take as much as you want for your meal, which I think is a great addition. In terms of taste, it's not too bad. Although I think Pho Vietz is slightly better in terms of taste. However, in terms of pricing, An Viet is better. Overall, I would recommend it to anyone who likes Vietnamese food."
"Been a long time since I ate shopping mall food and stunned by quality, especially on their “Dry Hủ Tiếu Rice Noodle with Pork” dish. I wasn’t expecting much since it wasn’t one of their top dishes, but the flavours were top notch. The pork ribs melt in your mouth. Soup is delicious. Only the pork balls were a bit too porky for my liking. Pho was fine. Really crowded all the time with queue. The restaurant doesn’t take reservations either."
"The food here is very authentic and it’s what you can find in Vietnam. It is more towards Hanoi style cuisine than southern Vietnam. All the dishes we tried are good. Notable ones are the Wagyu pho , the fried paper cake, Bahn Pho and mango salad. The egg coffee was very good too. Service is great too. Highly recommended"
"Came on a weekday for lunch and the place was quite full. Very happy to see some familiar dishes from Hanoi that you hardly see in most Vietnamese restaurants. We tried the bun cha Hanoi and cha ca la vong which is the tumeric cat fish with dill. They were both delicious and I am truly very happy we found a place in KL that we are able to get these dishes! Staff is also very friendly. Only downside is the membership needs to be a login and we can’t just give the phone number. Will be back for sure."
